Yes, that is a full force pun to jump back into our updates! We have been very impatiently waiting over here for the green light on the print copy. We still haven't seen a proof copy, but the second everything is in order we will be in insane work mode to get copies out as soon as possible. With that we have intrinsically tied the digital and physical copies to each other and we will push those out the second we can as well. Sadly Covid pushed back the process far more than we were expecting, but right now our target date is early December, and will keep you posted if anything changes.

We are super excited to be writing this update!
More art - that happened!
More words - those happened!
More layout - done!
We have finalized the version of the book enough for test proof printing to happen.
Also, we will be closing the Backerkit on the 11th. Also also, there are a rogue, rebellious 11% of backers that haven't responded. We have our fingers crossed that it no one will miss out on this supplement to DYE for, but reach out if there are any issues.
Also (x3), what would a post be without some sweet sweet art from Katie? We think it wouldn't be a post at all!

We have begun to receive edit notes from our layout wizard Mike @ The Imperial Forge who has been an absolutely awesome person to work with.
We are edging ever closer to putting the seal of approval on the book, and ordering a proof to ensure the quality of printed product. Then we establish shipping methods, and then the hairy goodness will be headed to your awaiting hands!
As an aside, we feel like our thumb was on the pulse because there is a Horror/Comedy movie called Bad Hair releasing on Hulu on October 23rd.
It wouldn't be a great post without some great art from Katie!!

We have submitted our survey to, and through, BackerKit. We are currently waiting on final approval so that we can send out the Smoke Test (5% of backers) to ensure that everything is working correctly. Shortly after that, where there is Smoke there is Fire and we will send out the survey to every backer! We have received the final pieces of writing, and that has gone through our editor. Layout is happening. Will we need to trim or add extensions? Dye or perm? Wait, not those last two ... or maybe.

Hello you beautiful backers!
The world is crazy right now, but things have still been happening here at Quantum Ogre with the Ultimate Guide to Hair. The final pieces of writing (minus some backer content) are in the hands of our truly amazing editor.
Once it is back in our hands we will transfer that hairy greatness, and the epic art pieces, to our layout editor. That way we can see where we stand, and what needs to be cut, added, and what additional art needs to be ordered.
